So that, having been justified by His grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.

And are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers. But with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

And through Him to reconcile to Himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through His blood, shed on the cross.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in His steps.
