For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you.

To him (Jesus Christ) all the prophets bear witness that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

Bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.
