Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers, but whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on His law day and night. That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither - whatever they do prospers. practice verse Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. practice verse Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. Five. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. practice verse Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from a sincere faith, from which some having strayed, having turned aside to idle talk, desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm. practice verse Make a Joyful Shout to the Lord, all you lands. Serve the Lord with gladness; come before his presence with singing.
