No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Do not neglect the gift that you have, which was given you by prophecy when the council of elders laid their hands on you.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.

Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in that name.
