Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.

You shall have no other gods. What does this mean? We should fear, love, and trust in God above all things.

Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.

The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous run to it and are safe.

Let everyone who names the name of the Lord depart from iniquity.

Remember the Sabbath Day to keep it holy. What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not despise preaching and His word, but hold it sacred and gladly hear and learn it.

For the Son of Man is Lord of the Sabbath.

Blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it!

Fourth Commandment: Honor your father and your mother. What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not despise or anger our parents and other authorities, but honor them, serve and obey them, love and cherish them.

Listen to your father who begot you, and do not despise your mother when she is old.

You shall not murder. What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not hurt or harm our neighbor in his body, but help and support him in every physical need.

And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.

You shall not commit adultery. What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we may lead a sexually pure and decent life in what we say and do, and husband and wife love and honor each other.

Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

I will set nothing wicked before my eyes.

You shall not steal. What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not take our neighbor's money or possessions, or get them in any dishonest way, but help him to improve and protect his possessions and income.
