But blessed are your eyes because they see, and your ears because they hear.

The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.

Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, ‘Truly you are the Son of God.’

These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.

‘But what about you?’ he asked. ‘Who do you say I am?’ Simon Peter answered, ‘You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.’

While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, ‘This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!’

And he said: ‘Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’

And whoever wants to be first must be your slave – just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.

Jesus said to them, ‘Have you never read in the Scriptures: “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes”?

For those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

So you also must be ready,because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him.

His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!’

This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

But this has all taken place that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled.

And when Jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
