"And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel."

By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things that are visible.

For as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous.

The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Every word of God proves true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold the new has come.

"Create in me a clean heart, O God, ​and renew a right spirit within me. Cast me not away from your presence, ​and take not your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, ​and uphold me with a willing spirit."

And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

In your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,

For we did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty.

because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

but these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

For what does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was counted to him as righteousness.”

[Abraham] considered that God was able even to raise [Isaac] him from the dead, from which, figuratively speaking, he did receive him back.

Jesus said to her, “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”

"And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose."

"But Joseph said to them, "Do not fear, for am I in the place of God? As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today."

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God.

Teach me your way oh Lord, I will walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name.

For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect.

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”

I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh.

And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets.”

And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in him may have eternal life.

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

“If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

"But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."

Beloved, do not imitate evil but imitate good. Whoever does good is from God; whoever does evil has not seen God.

The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

[Jesus said] “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you"

The heart of him who has understanding seeks knowledge, but the mouths of fools feed on folly.

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”
