“For by grace you have been saved through faith And this is not your own doing it is the gift of God not a result of works so that no one may boast

You shall have no other gods We should fear, love and trust in God above all things.

You shall not misuse the name of the lord your God. We should fear and love God so that we do not curse, swear, use satanic arts, lie, or deceive by his name, but call upon it in every trouble, pray, praise and give thanks.

Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. We should fear and love God so that we do not despise preaching and his word, but hold it sacred and gladly hear and learn it.

Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.
