“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.”

“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned- every one- to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.”

“For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one can boast.
