Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.

By this we know love, that He laid down His life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with price. So glorify God with your body.

Love does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

See what kind of love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.
