You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they were created and have their being.

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture.

For in Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by Him and for Him.

Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.

Let them praise Your great and awesome name - He is holy.

But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."

Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God— children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God.

You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

He is the Rock, His works are perfect, and all His ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is He.

As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one; there is no one who understands; no one who seeks God. All have turned away, they have together become worthless; there is no one who does good, not even one."

For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions - it is by grace you have been saved.

Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good man one someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were sinners, Christ died for us.

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.

Before the mountains were born or You brought forth the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting You are God.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

For the LORD is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

They will perish, but You remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing You will change them and they will be discarded. But You remain the same, and Your years will never end.
