I lift up my eyes to the hills, where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.

He will not let your foot slip; he who watches over you will not slumber. Behold, he who watches over Israel will neither sleep nor slumber.

The Lord watches over you; the Lord is your shade on your right hand. The sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night.

The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

Those who plant in tears will harvest with songs of joy. They weep as they go to plant their seed. But they sing songs of joy as they return with the harvest.

Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord protect the city, the guards stand watch in vain.

Blessed are all who fear the Lord, who walk in obedience to him. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.

But the Lord is righteous; he has cut me free from the cords of the wicked.

Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord. O Lord, hear my voice. Let your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.

If You, O Lord, kept a record of sins, O Lord, who could stand? But with You there is forgiveness, therefore You are feared.

I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope. My soul waits for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more than watchmen wait for the morning.

But I have calmed and quieted my soul. I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child my soul is satisfied.

O Lord, remember David and all his self-denial.

How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! It is like precious oil poured on the head, running down on the beard, running down on Aaron’s beard, down on the collar of his robe.

Praise the Lord, all you servants of the Lord who minister by night in the house of the Lord. Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the Lord.

The Lord does whatever pleases him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths.

Your name, O Lord, endures forever, your renown, O Lord, through all generations!

Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good; sing praise to his name, for that is pleasant.
