In order to be close to God, one needs to remember His Words. Many Bible verses emphasize the importance of memorizing His Words. Verses like Proverbs 3:5-6 (verse C14) and Joshua 1:8 (verse C15). The 7+ Golden Verses are selected in a way to be the first set that allows one to be close to God and to be able to receive His abundant love. God loves us. He promised us abundant life in John 10:10b. What is an abundant life? To name a few, to have freedom - freedom to think (to be joyful under any circumstances), freedom from illness, freedom from material hardship (instead of only being able to ask and receive, being in a position to give to others), freedom to have time, freedom to have the health to do the things He wants us to do (to serve Him and to serve others), freedom to enjoy His creation, and freedom to have friends and to love and be loved. The 7+ Golden Verses are grouped by A(dam), B(lessing), C(ontemplate), D(o), E(ssence), F(riends), and G(od's Golden Rule). It starts with 7 verses for group A, and each group thereafter has one verse less than the previous so that the last group has only one verse. This sequential structure facilitates a visual/mental road map for easy retrieval. Happy pilgrim journey. [Note for parents – These verses are like a combo vaccine for your children, encourage them to play while they are interested. They may not know the benefit now, but it will raise a Godly person and the verses will guard them for life.] - Yayasanhalim.org
