1. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (AMP)
But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you; sufficient against any danger, and enables you to bear the trouble; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in your weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me! So for the sake of Christ, I am well pleased and take pleasure in infirmities, insults, hardships, persecutions, perplexities and distresses; for when I am weak in human strength, then am I truly strong, able and powerful in divine strength.
2. Philippians 4:11-13 (NIV)
I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances. I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength. That is the secret. THROUGH HIM. HE GIVES ME THE STRENGTH.
3. Isaiah 26:3-4 (AMP)
You guard me and keep me in perfect and constant peace when my mind, both in its inclination and its character, is stayed on You, and when I choose to commit myself to You, lean on You, and hope confidently in You. So I trust in You, Lord, I commit myself to You, I lean on You, and I hope confidently ONLY in You forever; for You are the Lord MY God, my everlasting ROCK, the Rock of the Ages.
4. Philippians 4:6-8 (AMP)
I do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition to God, I make definite requests, and I recall all there is to give thanks for. In this way, I make my wants known to God. God's peace is mine. He makes my soul tranquil because He gives me assurance of my salvation through Christ. Because of this, I have nothing to fear from God and I find myself content with whatever He chooses to give me; for it is all being worked for my good and comes to me through His loving hands. This peace, which transcends all my understanding, has garrisoned and mounted guard over my heart and my mind through Christ Jesus. My mind is now able to stay fixed on whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, I think on and weigh and take account of these things. Because my mind is fixed, my mind is blessed, free of fret and worry, and my soul is at rest.
