For you are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil may not dwell with you

For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.

Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out.

And the word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only son from the father, full of grace and truth.

So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

By this my father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.

But He said, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it.

“If you love me, you will keep my commandments."

but let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.

Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who act faithfully are His delight.

Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will exalt you.

And they said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household."

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

But Jesus said, "let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for such belongs the kingdom of heaven."

Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger...

Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.

Hatred stirs up stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.

...I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.

This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy.

For we walk by faith and not by sight.

But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.

No soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to please the one who enlisted him.

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight.

There is none holy like the Lord; there is none besides You; there is no rock like our God.

The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately sick; who can understand it?

Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.

For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks

Behold, I was brought fourth in iniquity and in sin did my mother conceive me.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life; whoever does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God remains on him.

Because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

Christ died for our sins in accordance with the scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the scriptures.

For our sake, He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who have died to sin still live in it?

Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore, whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgement.

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves.

do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving.

Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger; for the anger of man does not produce the righteousness that God requires.

So it is the will of my father who is in heaven that none of these little ones should perish.

You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Therefore, having put away falsehood, let each of you speak the truth with his neighbor, for we are members of one another.

If anyone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear.

Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel,

So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.

Do not rebuke an older man but encourage him as you would a father, younger men as brothers, older women as mothers, younger women as sisters, in all purity.
