The God of this world (the devil) has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Jesus said, " how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man?"

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Who will have all men to be saved, and come unto the knowledge of the truth.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rules of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

The eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.

Lord open their eyes to know you. Open their understanding that they can understand the scriptures.

Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that He will send forth laborers into His harvest.

So shall my Word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but I shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing where to I sent it.

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
