This is the written account of Adam's family line. When God created mankind, he made them in the likeness of God.

And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.

This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.
