Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

Wives, submit yourselves to your husbands as you do to the lord.

In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh
