The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth

For in our heart condemn us, God is greater than our hearts and knowers all things. Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.

Do all things without murmurings and disputing.

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet and turn again and rend you.

For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil to give you an expected end Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me and I will harken unto you And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart

But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you and persecute you

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Speak not in the ears of a fool: for he will despise the wisdom of thy words.

Let not thine heart envy sinners but be thou in the fear of the Lord all the day long

Labor not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom. Wilt thou set thine eyes upon that which is not? For riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness. And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace

Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God

If ye then, being evil know how to give good gifts to your children how much more shall your Heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him

Whether therefore ye eat, or drink or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God

Behold the Lord's hand is not shortened that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy that it cannot hear: But your iniquities have separated between you and your God and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

But I say unto you, that every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgement.

Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man: But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed. then when his lust hath conceived it bringeth forth sin and sin when it is finished, bringeth forth death

In thee, O Lord do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion
