Give ear oh heavens and I will speak; and may hear the earth sayings of my mouth.

May trickle like rain my teaching, distill like to dew my speech; like showers on young sprouts, like droplets on the grass.

3. Deuteronomy 32:3

For the name of the LORD I shall proclaim; ascribe greatness to our God!

4. Deuteronomy 32:4

The Rock blameless is His work, indeed all His ways are just; a God of faithfulness, without iniquity, righteous and upright is He.

5. Deuteronomy 32:5

Did it corrupt Him? No! His children of the blemish is theirs; a generation twisted and crooked.

6. Deuteronomy 32:6

Is it to the LORD you pay back this, oh people foolish and not wise; is not He your Father who ransomed you? He made you and He established you.

7. Deuteronomy 32:7

Remember the days of antiquity, understand the years across generations; ask your father that he may tell you, your elders that they may say to you.

8. Deuteronomy 32:8

When made to inherit the Most High the nations, when He separated the sons of man; He set boundaries for the peoples, by the number of the sons of Israel.

9. Deuteronomy 32:9

However, the portion of the LORD is His people; Jacob is the share of His inheritance.
|
10. Deuteronomy 32:10
(TLV)
He found him in the land of the wilderness, in the void of a howling waste; He surrounded him took care of him, He guarded him like the pupil of His eye.

11. Deuteronomy 32:11

Like an eagle He stirs up His nest, over His young He hovers; He spread His wings, He took him, He lifted him, upon His wing.

12. Deuteronomy 32:12

The LORD alone He guided him; and there's not with Him a god that is foreign.
|
13. Deuteronomy 32:13

He made him mount the heights of the land, He made him eat the produce of the field; He suckled him with honey from the rock, with oil from the flinty boulder.

14. Deuteronomy 32:14

The butter of cattle and milk of the flock, with fat of lambs, and rams of Bashan and he-goats, with fat of the kidneys of wheat; and the blood of grapes you drink fermented.

But grew fat Little-Straight-One and he kicked- you grew fat, you grew thick, you gorged; he forsook God Who made him, he mocked the Rock of his salvation.

They made Him red-faced with strangers; with abominations they angered Him.

17. Deuteronomy 32:17
(TLV)
They sacrificed to the demons, a no god, gods not had they known them; (to) new ones, lately they came in, not had they dreaded them... your fathers.

The Rock who birthed you... you ignored; and you forgot... God Who brought you forth.
|
19. Deuteronomy 32:19
(TLV)
And saw the LORD and spurned, because of vexation, his sons… and His daughters.
|
20. Deuteronomy 32:20

And He said I want to hide My face from them, I want to see… what (is) their hereafter; for a generation upside down (are) they, children… without faithfulness in them.

21. Deuteronomy 32:21

They made Me red-faced with a no-god, they vexed Me… with airy idols; and I shall make them red-faced with a no-people, with a nation of fools… I shall vex them.
