Whoever guards his mouth preserves his life.

When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restraints his lips is prudent.

If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless.

For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue and those who love it will eat it's fruits.

For whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit
