Prayer is the method that God has designated for us to communicate with Him. That communication is to foster an intimate relationship with our Heavenly Father so that we can love, trust, and obey Him for He loved us first. (1 John 4:19). Prayer can be awkward and difficult to engage in when there exists lack of purpose and understanding. These scriptures are a start to assist in solving the "Help me to pray". Hopefully these scriptures will motivate you to begin so that you may enjoy praying, develop the art of prayer, and reap the rewards of answered prayer.
