“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."

God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him.

‘May the Lord bless you and protect you. May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you. May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.' ‭‭‬

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them. ‭‭

This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other. ‭

Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. ‭‭‬ ‭

But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. ‬ ‭

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love.

Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children.
