Justice. It is a basic right of every citizen of the United States. As an attorney, my ultimate goal is to find justice, and provide families with answers. Unfortunately, today’s search for the truth has been clouded by the corruption of the state. Mr(s) Frong’s lab misplaced crucial evidence, the blood sample that points to the defendant’s guilt. What was done with this vial before submission? Was it tampered with during the full day before testing? We will never know, as the assistant responsible is MIA, completely off the radar. Mr(s) Fuhrlange has broken protocol on multiple occasions. (S)he inspected the Bronco and discovered the bloody left glove unsupervised, and wrongfully jumped over the fence of Mr.Sampson’s estate.

The prosecution has the burden of proof in today’s case, which means they must prove to you beyond a reasonable doubt that AJ Sampson committed the two murders. Today they have not fulfilled that burden. Between the unreliable new science that is DNA, and the unacceptable mishandling of evidence, it is impossible to take the state and their claims seriously. I know that each and every person in this room wants to know what really happened that terrible night. I do too! But unfortunately, the truth had been clouded by the corruption of the state. So today, I ask that the jury return the verdict of not guilty. Thank you your honor.
