And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else.

It's your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, He has turned away and will not listen any more.

Christ also suffered once for sins once for all time. He never sinned, but he died for sinners to bring you safely home to God. He suffered physical death, but he was raised to life in the Spirit.

Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, "God opposes the proud but gives grade to the humble."
