He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature, and He upholds the universe by the word of His power. After making purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.

If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men. But Christ indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.

Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
