Blessed is the man Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, Nor stands in the path of sinners, Nor sits in the seats of the scornful, But his delight is in law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by the river of the water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither, And whatever he does shall prosper.

Love suffers long and is kind, love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely; does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth

Surely he has borne our greifs And carried our sorrows; Yet we esteemed him stricken, Smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our trangression, He was bruised for our inquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him And by His stripes we are healed.

Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith, from which some, having strayed, have turned aside to idle talk, desiring to be teachers of the law, understanding neither what they say nor the things which they affirm.

Make a joyful shout to the Lord, all you lands Serve the Lord with gladness; come before His presence with singing. Know that the Lord, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of his pasture.

an act of God's free grace where he pardons all our sins and accepts us as righteous in his sight, only for the righteousness of Christ imputed to us and received by faith alone.
