And the Lord said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.

Now go, write it before them in a table, and note it in a book, that it may be for the time to come for ever and ever:

The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying

Thus speaketh the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write thee all the words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.

All scripture is given of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness

That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works

God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation

For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost
