We looked for peace, but no good came; for a time of healing, but behold, terror.

While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them.

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you

The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face to shine upon you and be gracious to you; the LORD lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent Me, even so I am sending you.”

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
