But you are a God ready to forgive, gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and did not forsake them.

For he says, “In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of Salvation I have helped you.”Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

In him we have obtained an inheritance, having been predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things according to the counsel of his will.

For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,And are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace,

Jesus saved us not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the holy spirit.

For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.

For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we will always be with the Lord.

For our sake, He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

He has caused His wondrous works to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and merciful.

But you O Lord, are a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness.

So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.

For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope

And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul?

You therefore love the Lord your God and keep His charge, His statutes, His rules, and His commandments always.

Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”

For this is the love of God, that we keepHis commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.
