Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

The Lord by wisdom hath founded the earth; by understanding hath he established the heavens. By his knowledge the depths are broken up, and the clouds drop down the dew.

Have no fear of sudden disaster or of ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the Lord will be at your side and will keep your foot from being snared. NIV

Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.

Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways.

By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the Lord.

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy.

Cause me to hear thy loving kindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.

That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.

Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth , but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace into the hearers.

Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the day spring from on high hath visited us, to give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Thus speakers the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgement, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother; And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.
