1. Song (NIV)
A sturdy crew of phi’s are we; yo ho, yo ho, yo ho. The bravest lads upon the sea; yo ho, yo ho, yo ho. For we can manage steam and sail and ships of every sort and outride fiercest winds and waves and safely make our port. Each year this crew goes sailing off; yo ho, yo ho, yo ho. With brand new crew and officers; yo ho, yo ho, yo ho. The pilot steers us on our way and ne’er a shoal strikes he. For he knows the course and puts all his force to win right lustily. Oh, we’re the toughest crew of boys that ever reefed a sail. We never batten down a hatch no matter what the gale. Whenever the sea is rough, boys, and the waves are rolling high, like every true brother we stick to each other, the crew of the good ship phi. There’s many a crew that sails about upon this college sea; there’s delta tau and sigma chi and beta and DKE. Theyre all good crews with slippers bold; their speed we can’t deny. But they have to hump to get a jump on the crew of the good ship phi.
