1. 1Cor1:18; 2Cor4:10-11 The cross; My shelter
(NLT)
To preach the message of the cross seems like sheer nonsense to those who are on their way to destruction, but to us who are being saved, it is the mighty power of God released within us... We bear at all times in our bodies the dying of Yeshua The Messiah, that the life also of Yeshua may be revealed in our bodies. For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus Christ might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

2. 1Pet2:24-25; Rom6:4-5 The New Life
(NLT)
Yeshua The Messiah himself carried our sins in his body on the cross so that we would be dead to sin and live for righteousness. Our instant healing flowed from his wounding. You were like sheep that continually wandered away,
but now you have returned to the true Shepherd of your lives—the kind Guardian who lovingly watches over your souls... Sharing in his death by our baptism means that we were co-buried with him, so that when the Father’s glory raised Christ from the dead, we were also raised with him. We have been co-resurrected with him so that we could be empowered to walk in the freshness of new life. For since we are permanently grafted into him to experience a death like his, then we are permanently grafted into him to experience a resurrection like his and the new life that it imparts.

3. Rom14:8; Rom13:13-14;Mal2:6; 2Cor2:14-16 Let God Reign
(NLT)
While we live, we must live for our Savior God, and in death we must bring honor to him. So dead or alive we belong to our Trinity God... The night has passed and the day has arrived, therefore let us strip off the works of darkness from us, and let us put on the armor of light. And let us walk in a right manner as those in the daytime, not in partying, not in drunkenness, not in orgies, not in envy or in fighting, But put on our Lord Yeshua The Messiah and do not be concerned for the desires of your flesh... “The purpose of my covenant with the Levites was to bring life and peace, and that is what I gave them. This required reverence from them, and they greatly revered me and stood in awe of my name. They passed on to the people the truth of the instructions they received from me. They did not lie or cheat; they walked with me, living good and righteous lives, and they turned many from lives of sin. “The words of a priest’s lips should preserve knowledge of God, and people should go to him for instruction, for the priest is the messenger of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies."... In the Messiah, in Christ, God leads us from place to place in one perpetual victory parade. Through our yielded lives he spreads the fragrance of the knowledge of God everywhere we go. Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God. We have become the unmistakable aroma of the victory of the Anointed One to God—a perfume of life to those being saved and the odor of death to those who are perishing. The unbelievers smell a deadly stench that leads to death, but believers smell the life-giving aroma that leads to abundant life. And who of us can rise to this challenge? For unlike so many, we are not peddlers of God’s Word who water down the message. We are those sent from God with pure motives, who speak in the sight of God from our union with Christ.

4. 1Cor9:25-27; Eccl7:8; Col1:9-11; 2Tim4:6-7 Persevering for the Eternity
(NLT)
A true athlete will be disciplined in every respect, practicing constant self-control in order to win a laurel wreath that quickly withers. But we run our race to win a victor’s crown that will last forever. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: I train like a champion athlete. But I subdue my body and I enslave it, lest I who have preached to others would be disqualified myself ... Better is the end of a matter than its beginning, and better is patience of spirit than pride of spirit... For this cause we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you that you would receive the perfect knowledge of God’s pleasure over your lives, making you reservoirs of every kind of wisdom and spiritual understanding. We pray that you would walk in the ways of true righteousness, pleasing God in every good thing you do. Then you’ll become fruit-bearing branches, yielding to his life, and maturing in the rich experience of knowing God in his fullness! And we pray that you would be energized with all his explosive power from the realm of his magnificent glory, filling you with great hope... I am ready to be offered as a sacrifice. I have fought an excellent fight. I have finished my full course with all my might and I’ve kept my heart full of faith.
