But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

You shall not covet your neighbor's house. What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not scheme to get our neighbors inheritance or house or get it in a way which only appears right, but help and be of service to him in keeping it.

Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall, but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, or his man servant or his maidservant, his ox or his donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor. What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not entice or force away or neighbors wife, workers, or animals, or turn them against him, but urged them to stay and do their duty.

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

You shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal. You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor. You shall not covet your neighbor‘s house. You shall not covet your neighbor‘s wife , or his man servant or maid servant, his ox or donkey or anything that belongs to your neighbor.

He ascended to heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty. From there he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic* church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

I believe in God the father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth. What does this mean? I believe that God has made me and all creatures; that He has given me my body and soul, eyes, ears, and all my members, my reason and all my senses, and still takes care of them.

The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.

He also gives me clothing and shoes, food and drink, house, home, wife and children, land, animals, and all I have. He richly and daily provides me with all that I need to support this bodily life. He defends me against all danger and guards and protect me from all evil. All this he does only out of fatherly, divine goodness and mercy, without any merit or worthiness in me. For all this it is my duty to thank and praise, serve and obey him. This is most certainly true.
