In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

And God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the face of the earth.

And God saw every thing that he had made,and, behold,it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God.

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

The next day he saw Jesus coming towards him, and said, "Behold, the lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

And being found in fasion as a man,he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death,even the death of the cross.
