I and the Father are one.

For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After He had provided purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.

Jesus answered: "Don’t you know Me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?"

The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

You will be with Child and give birth to a Son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus.

Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; He is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: you will find a Baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.

Because He Himself suffered when He was tempted, He is able to help those who are being tempted.

Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness, by His wounds you have been healed.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him.

For, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved."

Therefore He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him, because He always lives to intercede for them.

This is how God showed His love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him.

For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, He cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over Him.

This Man was handed over to you by God’s purpose and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put Him to death by nailing Him to the cross. But God raised Him from the dead, freeing Him from the agony of death, because it was impossible for death to keep its hold on Him.

"Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?"

We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him.

Now if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?

Whoever claims to live in Him must walk as Jesus did.

Then He said to them all: "If anyone would come after Me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow Me."

Be imitators of God, therefore, as dearly loved children and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in His steps.

We love because He first loved us.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I always thank God for you because of His grace given you in Christ Jesus.

When they came to the place called the Skull, there they crucified Him, along with the criminals—one on His right, the other on His left. Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up His clothes by casting lots.

Whom He poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by His grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life.

He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation."

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.

I became a servant of this gospel by the gift of God’s grace given me through the working of His power.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
