For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God. Not by works, so that no one can boast.

Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.

You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to Him in song.

When I am afraid, I will trust in You. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The Lord your God is with you, He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.”

But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy,

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Know therefore that the LORD your God is God; He is the faithful God, keeping His covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love Him and keep His commands.

No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it.

Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

And He passed in front of Moses, proclaiming, “The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness."

But you are a forgiving God, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. Therefore you did not desert them.

For he says, “In the time of My favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.” I tell you, now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.

This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives.

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of Him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will,

For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.

Who [God] has saved us and called us to a holy life - not because of anything we have done but because of His own purpose and grace. This grace was given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by His grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.

For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.

Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned.

God made Him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.

This is how God showed His love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him.

He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the Lord is gracious and compassionate.

But you, O Lord, are a compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.

For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.

And now, O Israel, what does the Lord your God ask of you but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

Love the Lord your God and keep His requirements, His decrees, His laws and His commands always.

Whoever has My commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me. He who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I too will love him and show Myself to him.”

This is love for God: to obey His commands. And His commands are not burdensome,

Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths.

Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and He will make your paths straight.

“If you love Me, you will obey what I command.

But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: “Be holy, because I am holy.”

Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is - His good, pleasing and perfect will.

Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’ ”

To the Jews who had believed Him, Jesus said, “If you hold to My teaching, you are really My disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. And teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.

He told them, “This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

How, then, can they call on the One they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?

And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

"Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord!" "Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!"

Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and His kingdom is one that will never be destroyed.

For He has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son He loves,

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.

For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus.

Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made Himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.

And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled himself and became obedient to death — even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name,

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

He withdrew about a stone’s throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed, “Father, if you are willing, take this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.”

Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; may Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.

For I have come down from heaven not to do My will but to do the will of Him who sent Me.

For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of His will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.

During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, He offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the One who could save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverent submission.

And live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.

For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing.

But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, He sat down at the right hand of God.

This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers.

He is not here; He has risen, just as He said. Come and see the place where He lay.

From that time on Jesus began to explain to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that He must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.

For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, He cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him.

That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and He will raise us also.

And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will Himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.

I will give them a heart to know Me, that I am the Lord. They will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me with all their heart.

Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.

Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

But when they arrest you, do not worry about what to say or how to say it. At that time you will be given what to say, for it will not be you speaking, but the Spirit of your Father speaking through you.

Peter replied, “Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in Him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,

For the entire law is summed up in a single command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,

By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another.”

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight,

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

You have made known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand.

If you obey My commands, you will remain in My love, just as I have obeyed My Father’s commands and remain in His love. I have told you this so that My joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete.

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.

Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in Him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls.

Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times in every way. The Lord be with all of you.

Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for Him; do not fret when men succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do

He who pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honor.

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness, love.

And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord, and may please Him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God.

Love the Lord, all His saints! The Lord preserves the faithful, but the proud He pays back in full.

Let love and faithfulness never leave you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will win favor and a good name in the sight of God and man.

So we make it our goal to please Him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.

With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and that by His power He may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith.

But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.

As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness Gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.

The Lord will fulfill His purpose for me; your love, O Lord, endures forever — do not abandon the works of Your hands.

I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever! Amen.
