I am the Lord your God; you shall not have strange gods before me. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. Remember to keep holy the Lord’s Day. Honor your father and your mother. You shall not kill. You shall not commit adultery. You shall not steal. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife. You shall not covet your neighbor’s goods.

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Jesus appears to Mary Magdalene and the other women on Easter morning. Jesus appears to Cleopas on the road to Emmaus. Jesus appears to the Apostles (not Thomas) on Easter evening instructing them to forgive sins. Jesus appears to doubting Thomas. Jesus appears on the shore while the Apostles are fishing. Jesus appears to Peter and asks three times if Peter loves Him. Jesus appears to His disciples in Bethany, then ascends into heaven.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Jesus’ New Commandment: Love one another as I have loved you.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.
