Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.

“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!"

Let them praise your great and awesome name! Holy is He!

But as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, "You shall be holy, for I am holy."

But to all who did receive Him, who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

... put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.
